Have you ever had one of those days when your boss yelled at you for no reason at all, your mother in law called up and your kid brother got busted for overdoing the speed limit? Satellite television made its debut in the 1960’s in some places of the world, but it was not until the early 1990’s that it became available in a lot of areas of the united States for individual homes.
I was speaking to a friend of mine the other day about the ending of analogue TV broadcasting. Over the next couple of years each region in the UK will start to switch off its analogue transmissions permanently. Televisions bought in recent years will have no problem, as they have a digital tuner built in. Otherwise an additional digibox will be needed to be bought.
